James Melling

James Melling has done substantial research on King's Norton, especially on the architecture of the older buildings. He has published several books. These include:

• “The Changing Times in King's Norton”
• “St Nicolas - King's Norton”
• “The Saracen's Head”
• “The Junction House”
• “The Old Grammar School”

James Melling's conducted tours of the Saracen's Head, the Old Grammar School, and church visits have been very well supported. He has contributed to a number of other web sites, supplying articles, photographs, and drawings. For example:
